SAC 0.255″ Modular Expander Mandrel Kit + ER11 Collet

The SAC Expander Mandrel Kit bridges the gap between carbide standard and decapping expanding mandrels, by being convertible into both.

Each Mandrel kit will ship with a Thread Protector and 5 different Pins that will allow each mandrel to work with all Short Action Customs Modular Sizing Dies. Please see chart below for length fitment.

This gives you the flexibility of choice between a decapping mandrel or a standard mandrel.

Decapping pins are replaceable.

Mandrels are made of nitrided 17-4 H1150 Steel. The pins are made of 11-44 stress proofed steel, these items are not finished and will rust over time, they are not warrantied for rust or breakage.

30cal and 338cal Mandrels will will need to be assembled and fed into the top cap assembly from the bottom, see photos and video for guidance.

.20 Cal Mandrels have their own pins, if you break one, email Info@shortactioncustoms.com for replacement purchase.

You will need either the SAC Die Wrench or a small adjustable wrench the engage the flats on the decapping pin to tighten them.
